The demonstration software on this CD is not designed to be run from the CD. You should copy the software onto floppy disks or a hard disk for a user to take and use on their own system. The number of disks required to copy each software program is usually part of the name of software program. Most of the demonstration software programs on this CD are similar in functionality to the standard software, but with some restrictions in certain features (for example, limited or no printing or saving of documents). Some of the demonstration software is tutorials or self-running animations.
MACINTOSH SOFTWARE
To copy any of the Macintosh software, double-click the "Macintosh Software" folder and select the software you want.
APPLE IIGS SOFTWARE
To copy the Apple IIGS software, use the Disk Mastering Utility in the "Apple IIGS Software" folder.
1) Double click the Disk Mastering Utility.
2) Select "DMU File" as the Source Disk.
3) Select the Apple II file you want to transfer from the pop-up file menu.
4) Insert a double-sided disk into the floppy drive.
5) Select "Start" to begin the transfer.
The Disk Mastering Utility creates a disk in ProDOS format that you can use directly on an Apple IIGS.
DOCUMENTATION
Brief documentation is generally, but not always, included with each software program. For Macintosh software, the documentation may be in Hypercard, Teachtext, or ASCII format and can be printed with the appropriate application. For Apple IIGS software, the documentation is in ASCII format and can be printed by any word processing program.
